I used to be a big smoker. I live in a retirement community and we aren't supposed to smoke indoors. I ordered this product and was very surprised to find out that it works. I did notice that after I sprayed it the area felt sticky, but it went away as it dried. But it does work. I don't smoke anymore so I gave it to my neighbor.

Only brand I will ever use

I've tried numerous Collagen powders, all grass fed. This is by far the best I've had! I use it in my coffee every morning. It instantly dissolves. Absolutely no clumping. I do stir it, but I'm not sure I even need to. I highly recommend it!

Another great product of this brand that’s easy to use, dissolves very quickly and mild tasting.

Flavorless, does the trick. 4 stars because it doesn’t dissolve fully with shaking. I think if you used a frother or put it in a smoothie it’d be fine, though.

It’s a good replacement when I didn’t want to spend the money on my value size vital proteins brand one month. However, it gets a bit foamy in my coffee when I use two scoops. My other brand doesn’t do this. Not a deal breaker and this is still a good replacement in a pinch but not preferable.

This is my first time buying this brand of collagen peptides, but this is by far the best. I put a scoop in my coffee this morning and could not taste it. I drink my coffee with just cream. These collagen peptides dissolved very well and had no aftertaste in my coffee.

Good product — the Nutricost Collagen Peptides Powder (1 lb) mixes well, is unflavored, and gives a clean boost of protein/collagen. A few days of use and my skin already feels a little more hydrated.A small downside: the scoop is a bit awkward (can be messy), and for the price I’d like a slightly larger container or more servings.

My wife shattered her pelvis and started taking this to hopefully help with bone regrowth. I joined her to obtain some of the benefits cited for collagen. Are we benefitting? We have absolutely no idea, but will stay on it in hopes. My rating is on more tangible things.There have been numerous comments on how well the product dissolves or clumps. We have found that the collagen dissolves best in hot or warm liquids and tends to clump in cold liquids, all other things being equal.Pluses:It is manufactured in the U.S. probably to higher standards than product coming in from places like China and Mexico.Nutricost products are always competitive in price.Minuses:Consistency. Our first two shipments dissolved easily with few to no clumps. Our third shipment is awful in that regard. It clumps so badly I have had to start using a blender to get a smooth drink.Freshness/safety seal. I use 7-8 Nutricost products. I take off a full star for the safety seals they apply on the bottle. It is virtually impossible to get off cleanly. It leaves so much residue material around the top of the container that it makes it a pain to get the cover off and on each time we use it. They could do much better.Edit: March 22, 2025. I have just changed my rating from 3 stars to 5 stars. I am 81. You have likely seen older people with bruises on their forearms. Some have bruised so many times that their arms had turned dark, in some cases almost black. I was very much headed in that direction. I have had as many as 3-4 large bruises on my arms at the same time. I had to be ridiculously careful to not bump into something if I wanted my arms to look at all normal. It took next to nothing to bruise my arms. A bruise might start out the size of a pencil eraser, but then that bruise would bleed under my skin and spread out. That small bruise might end up the size of a quarter. It would then take a solid three weeks for that bruise to fade away. I tried a couple of products that claimed to speed healing of my type of bruises. They did nothing.I have been taking this collagen daily for about seven months. I recently banged my arm into something rather hard and told my wife to expect to see a very large and dark bruise. Nothing happened. I then realized that I was getting virtually no bruises anymore. I might still get that pencil eraser-sized bruise, but it would not be dark in color and it would not grow in size. The mark would be gone in a week or so. I would estimate that my frequency of bruising and the severity of bruising to be down fully 95%.There have been no other changes in my life or supplements taken that could have accounted for this change other than the collagen. It was not an overnight cure. I have been taking this religiously for nearly seven months. I can see what it has done for me on the outside with my arms. I wonder what it has done for me on the inside? I will never stop taking it.
